2201 LOCUST STREET · DOWNTOWN WEST · ST. LOUIS

A St. Louis Venue for Event Professionals

One room. A professional team chosen by the client.

A protected introduction. A defined role.

Your qualified referral is recorded for review and protected once verified and locked. Lumen may correct an error or resolve a genuine dispute using documented evidence and an audit trail. Existing leads, bookings, duplicate inquiries and self-referrals cannot be claimed retroactively.

Experienced professional partners may qualify to serve as a Lumen Event Steward, coordinating venue requirements for their client and earning enhanced partner benefits under approved terms. A steward coordinates agreed tasks; the role does not confer authority as an owner, employee, security officer, inspector or alcohol licensee.

Build a roster with clear responsibilities.

Planners, caterers, DJs, AV teams, photographers, florists, decorators, rental companies and other event professionals are welcome subject to event-specific requirements. Identify each team lead, arrival time, equipment footprint, insurance contact and person responsible for removal. Lumen supplies the venue; the event team supplies its services and materials.

Keep referrals separate from participation.

Working on an event does not automatically make a vendor its referral partner. One verified originator is recorded for each event. Other professionals participate normally without additional venue referral compensation. Apply to the network for future introductions or request a walkthrough for a current client.

Capacity depends on event layout and current occupancy approval. Tell us your guest count when you inquire.

Your event team. Clear venue support.

Lumen provides the venue for your agreed rental period, normal trash liners and bags, basic cleaning consumables, normal post-event housekeeping, venue turnover and routine building maintenance. You and your vendors arrange event furniture and rentals, linens, tableware, food and drinks, event staffing, decor, lighting, setup and teardown unless your agreement expressly includes an item. We welcome your own licensed caterer and event planner. Extraordinary cleanup is not included.

Before leaving, you and your vendors remove personal property, decorations, food and service equipment, complete normal teardown, place trash in designated receptacles and leave the venue reasonably orderly. Follow any event-specific cleanup rules and complete removal within your agreed rental period. Lumen supplies normal trash bags and basic cleaning consumables and handles normal post-event housekeeping. Extraordinary cleanup and any agreed charges are addressed in your rental agreement.

Alcohol service

Bring a licensed caterer or qualified alcohol-service provider to confirm and arrange the permits, licensing, insurance and service requirements that apply to your event. The booker coordinates this with the provider and Lumen before booking. Do not assume a food-catering license alone authorizes alcohol service.
